Joe Brennan, CBIA senior vice president of public policy talks about Connecticut Business Day at the LOB in Hartford today. Approximately 500 businesspeople from across the state attended the event. They heard from Governor Malloy, Republican leaders Sen. John McKinney and Rep. Larry Cafero about the state budget. All urged business leaders to get involved and hold legislators accountable. The event also featured four breakout sessions on labor and healthcare; energy and environment; state fiscal policy and taxes; and small business.
