What is so terrible about UNCC?
I am an NC high school student hoping to attend UNCC next fall. I checked the Student’s Review site to see what undergrads thought of UNC Charlotte and I was shocked! The school had a rank of D+ by students. . . Most of the student’s reviews seemed to be complaining about UNCC’s lack of drinking, parties, football, and nearby entertainment. I am unconcerned with those sort of things; what I really need to know is getting a BS of Accounting at UNCC a good idea? I am not looking to attend an Ivy League school, just a university that will get me a good job in the future! Is UNCC worth the time?

I know nothing about UNCC, but I would say that this student review is not something to pay much attention to. This is especially true when the major things they reported on are not of concern to you, and, frankly, shouldn’t be of much concern to any student.
Try to do a bit more investigating, but I imagine UNCC is a perfectly good school. Be positive that credits will transfer to another college or university, and go for it. Good luck!

UNCC is a good school as far as academics!
There are a lot of fun things to do around the Charlotte area.
However, when I was a student there, there wasn’t much to do on campus unless you joined a sorority or fraternity.
The student body is really into basketball. . . and the games are a blast! I still go to them!
They are making a lot of changes right now such as adding a football team and new restaurants.
