He started to just preach the word of God in the correct fashion and was leaving, you know, whether atheism is or isn’t the right way to go oanything and was just sticking to preaching the word of God like I and other people have been telling him to do just you know… win the people who want to be won. and he was doing this for a while So then he got involved in the donation business there and it seemed pretty straightforward at the time but he was doing great things making nice videos there congregation says oh yeah.. church elders impressed and since he was in college he was learning.. or was supposed to be doing over there, so we thought, anyway… Uhh… The bishop there offered him a job as an evangelist. You know… The Grand Master (youtube handle of another guy) told me [?] sent you an e-mail there.. so.. He declined. I was flabbergasted. [...] Our church organization is strong. @DopeJedi oh, I see what you mean. in the quote you’re referring to, I was quoting another user who said “you religious guys and you atheists” – and I was merely pointing out that those two groups are diametrically opposed. Thus, you can only be part of one of the groups. I did not mean to imply that you HAD to be part of one; only that you could ONLY be part of one (and not the other as well). You are correct; there is no certainty required, and indeed it is certainty which makes you a fool.

@wtfnord Exactly, thank you for agreeing with me! By the way, what does “Fairly sure” mean? In your original comment you say “Your either one thing or another” and you mean either a “religious guy” or an “Atheist”. So in that case how can you be neutral? Or is your comment disingenuous to your own beliefs? You can read your own comment above and see for yourself, although I can understand if you just worded it wrong and got a different impression than what you meant.

@DopeJedi I didn’t claim that you either know there is or know there is not. I never said that at all. If I did, please show me where. If so, it was a mistake on my part. In fact, I don’t know either way, at least not for certain. I’m “fairly sure” there is no god, but no honest man of science can claim with certainty there something DOESN’T exist.
